Hi Ralph,

The UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR would come back as
aw_api.Errors.GoogleInternalError.  To trap and handle it you would do
something like,

try:
  # api call
except RequestError, e:
  # logic to handle request errors
except GoogleInternalError, e:
  # logic to handle unknown api error

The full mapping of error codes (v13) and types (v200909) can be found
in
