Eric, One example is the word [pants] The API returns a NULL value in the AttributeType.KEYWORD_CATEGORY portion of the code. However the word [jeans] returns the following values: 0, 194606, 198387, 198371, 198400. Which are all reasonable categoryIDs and are reflected in the UI.
the keyword [pants] returns the following categories via the UI: Apparel Clothing Pants, Jeans & Trousers Footwear Athletic Shoes Tennis Shoes Sports & Fitness Sports & Fitness Apparel Exact match is used in ALL cases.
