Hi Michael, In this case either keywordMaxCpc or keywordContentMaxCpc should return you the value (I just tried it on my side), it depends if the ad group is using the default bidding or has a display network specific bidding.
What is the adgroup id you are querying? Are you sure you are including " KeywordMaxCpc" and "KeywordContentMaxCpc" in your report definition?
