As it's taken 4 days with no ads as no-one from google has had the courtesy to acknowledge this I have had to create a whole new set of ads with the '£' sign outside of the adparam, and as a result have lost all the long-standing ad history on my previous ads - the whole reason for using adparams i the first place!
