I wrote a post about using the sandbox with the PHP AdWords API Client Library<http://www.ewanheming.com/2011/12/ppc-software-development/adwords-api/using-the-adwords-api-sandbox>, not sure if you've found it already because I got some comments from someone with a similar nick to yours. Anyway, if you're using PHP then hopefully the code examples will get you started.
