I had always assumed that, in order to access an adwords account data via the API, that account HAS to be managed by the MCC account for which the developer token was issued.
However, I've been seeing some recent posts that indicate 'unlinked' accounts can also be accessed via the API. By 'unlinked' I presume it means the client account is NOT under the MCC account which has the token. Can someone please elaborate on, or direct me to some documentation about, which accounts exactly can and can't be accessed via the API from an MCC accoutn with a token?
