What kind of the account are you authorized with? Is this an MCC account or an advertiser account? MCS can only be used against MCC accounts. You also need to set the SOAPAction header properly: webRequest.Headers.Add("SOAPAction", "get") If you still receive the error, please send me full XML response over *email *. As per library, you may find it more complicated to use SOAP when / if you'll need to run more complex queries. -Danial, AdWords API Team.
