Hi, Most of the cases, you don't have to use service account unless if you need a service account specific feature (i.e. impersonation). Please see here for more details about service account<https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/service-accounts> .
Where to provide credentials depend on what client library you are using. What client library are you using (or you don't use any of these)?
