Hi Georg, The BudgetOptimizer bidding strategy was deprecated in v201402 <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/#v201402>. Sorry I didn't mention this before -- I forgot about this change.
In place of the BudgetOptimizer strategy, use the shared TargetSpend strategy. Good point on the API docs -- I'll look into having those updated to reflect these changes.
