Hello Hans, While it is possible to create an ad where the display URL and final URL don't match, that ad will trigger a policy violation and won't be able to serve. If you look at the ads you created this way, you will see that they are disapproved.
You are prevented from upgrading ads where they don't match since there's no reason to automatically create ads that we know will be rejected.
