Hi, Our guide is incorrect here -- thanks for pointing that out. To mirror the user interface's language selection, you would want to use a *LanguageSearchParameter*, as you suggested.
The *localeCode* *is* still useful, however, as it controls how returned values are formatted (for example, numbers). I'll update our guide to reflect these points. Thanks again!
