I have a scenario below, can anyone shed some light how to resolve the
issue please?
1. we have an existing text ad in Adwords, and we need to its the
Headline.
2. to update the headline, first we delete the original ad in Adwords.
3. when creating the new ad, the API reports an error saying exclamation
mark is not allowed, and therefore disapproves the new ad.
4. as a result, the original ad is lost (deleted), and the new ad is not
created (disapproved).
Imagine all the steps above are automated and running in the background.
Without being properly notified, we may not notice there's no ad running
for days.
How do we set up a fail-safe that either
1. delete the original ad after confirming the new ad is created; or
2. restore the original ad if the new ad creation fails?
