I get AdGroupCriterionError.CANT_UPDATE_NEGATIVE in a shopping campaign. The criterion is a shopping-partition (UNIT). In a criteria-performance-report this criterion has "is_negative" = false. In AdWords Interface this criterion is labeled with "excluded" (has no cpc-bid). If I give this criterion a cpc bid in AdWords interface ( then it is not "excluded" any more), then I can change bids over API without any errors. Is there a way to determine the "excluded" state of a (shopping) criterion? The criteria-performance-report seems to be of little use in this case. Cant find anything in shopping-performance-report either.
