I am using the Shopping Performance Report in two ways. One is calling the 
API and the other one using the AdWords reporting interface.

 

With the API I am downloading the data for every day, always on the second 
day morning.

 

I noticed the following uncomfortable behaviour: if I download the report 
in one day for the previous day and if I download the report for the same 
day a month later the delivered values are completely different. This would 
be somehow explinable with the fact that it takes time to collect the data, 
but the differences are major, some items that were delivered in the first 
download are not delivered a month later, the measure values are sometimes 
lower in the latter extraction than in the earlier.

 

Furthermore the values in the downloaded API response are totally different 
from the values that are presented in the web GUI report.

 

Can somebody offer an explanation? I am totally puzzled which source can I 
take as truth.
