With regards to your concern about getting an empty result from the Ad Performance Report, this is due to all of your campaigns being App campaigns in the accounts you mentioned. Unfortunately, the Ad Performance Report and Adgroup Performance Report don't support app campaigns. You may refer to this guide for the list of the supported reports for app campaigns in Adwords API.
