What about the second part of the question? For TEMPLATE_ADs we were able to get further information about the ads such as TemplateAdName shown here https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/selectorfields?hl=de and we would also receive useful information about the file where the images could be seen but with these blank ads we are getting no information. The users say the ads they are creating are no different to the ones in the past so have these new ads that are returning the blank ad_type new? This is the big issue for us because we cannot get copies of the images at the moment which is what we could get from Template Ads and then display them for the client.
