Allow me to discuss first the UI, if you are asking for the workaround to improve downloading of data here, then you may reach out the product team via this link as it is outside of our scope. As for workaround in the change_event of Google Ads API, I am afraid that you can only specify period within the last 30 days in the said report type. With this, I can raise a feature request to my team on what you are looking for on the below concern. You may just provide the sample use case why you need this so that I can proceed with creating this feature request.
