In the Google Ads API's perspective, supported campaign types are mentioned here. I'm afraid that the Google Ads API currently doesn't fully support discovery campaigns. Discovery campaigns maybe returned with UNKNOWN type in Reports. Our team already raised a feature request for this; however, this isn't a guarantee if this will be supported in the API soon.
