Rendering images "in page" is fairly easy with Markdown on GitHub. It's how the screenshot is shown in-line for the repo README page here: https://github.com/justinclift/EventsMap For the "where to keep the images", maybe we just need a new GitHub repo to put them in, so they can be referenced from?
