The fonts and nicer tick, exclamation and cross marks, with associated 
colouring are definitely an improvement. :)

Personally, I like the coloured background version as shown on the Codepen 
site, because the colours grab my
attention more with obvious priority meaning.  Don't need to read them to 
prioritise. (ie ignore green, READ anything red)

But... it's hard to judge what it would be like in actual real world operation. 
 Might be too much colour after all.

Guess we should pick one approach (either way) for actual testing, then see how 
it goes in actual workflow.

+1 for coloured background (not a strong care factor tho) :)
