Hi folks, Scott and I spent a while looking at why pagination links disappear when running on upstream ruby. The commit message in the patch expands on the details which I won't repeat here. (I also put in a comment, to guard against the next person looking at the code wondering why in the world it's checking that.)
PLEASE NOTE: I have not run tests on this. My test setup appears to be fubar at the moment, and I'd rather get this patch out than wait until tomorrow when I have tested it. Beyond reviewing this, please ensure that it introduces no new test failures. -- Matt
