Good point, was doing C++ and web development in high school as well. Just mention this cause I feel students at that level are generally appreciative of just getting involved. Also not all students have the same level of expertise, so the tasks sometimes vary in level of difficulty (I've already mentored tasks from recording a screencast to simply setting up an irc bot) Agree that the more interesting the tasks are (while still being accomplishable), the better. -Mo
