What do my drawings have to do with the topic of this thread? Following her concern with the "re-creation of reality", Rand's first response to them would probably be similar to that of Boris: finding something inaccurate with the anatomy or proportions. Following her concern with the metaphysical values expressed by the artist, she would also be looking for more ideal, athletic, slender body types and she would want them to to feel like they were isolated and striving towards some kind of self realization. And yes, my drawings fail on all counts. BTW - here's another one that I just did 2 weeks ago at my annual Labor Day Drawing marathon at the Palette and Chisel Academy: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_u_KW4nuKg9k/SqXAisSfSeI/AAAAAAAAKy4/bQMoNh1uIz8/s16 00-h/m110.jpg So clearly, I've haven't gotten any better. >Some of miller's own work is on the web at: http://www.ilovefiguresculpture.com/cjm/cjmdraw/drawings.htm Kate Sullivan ____________________________________________________________ Wanna lose weight?
