Are objects of art a source or product of some special kind of knowledge not
found elsewhere?
If not, why does the philosophical project need a philosophy of art?

Or, if there is some special kind of knowledge involved in art works -- what
would be an example of such?

>My understanding of the philosophical project at this point is to
reflexively
address critically the methods by which we might address an object as a
source
of or a product of knowledge - this is because our being subject is the
object
of philosophy (Saul)
