I would have talked about Dutton's book in mine but it was too late to include. 
However I do comment on some earlier work by Dutton where he puts forward 
essentially the same ideas. My comments, I should add, are not favourable. I 
think there are huge holes in the kinds of arguments he advances (as, I am 
sure, Malraux would have thought too).  But I won't try to elaborate here.
