Dr Hong Yu Wong (TC<bingen)
Seeing, Seeing as and Seeing in

In this talk, I will explore associations and dissociations between these
locutions and the capacities they are meant to pick out. In particular, I will
examine various arguments put forward in the literature concerning the
reducibility of seeing in to a form of resemblance or experienced resemblance.
I will explore what is at stake in this debate, and whether it could be
resolved by examining the empirical bases of these capacity ascriptions.

The talk will be free and open to all. For more information please visit our
