Doing the same. It'll work fine.

Management VLAN Access:
Configure the interface(s) through which the management interface of the SM can be accessed, when a Management VLAN is enabled. By default, management access is only allowed from the Wireless Interface of the SM.

Basically the same setting as MVID passthrough on a Canopy radio.
