Google has filtering rules, you can set one up in various ways. In my google mail client, you can do it from an email by clicking on 'Filter messages like these' in the message 'toolbar'. One of the processing options is to never treat as spam (or something like that). You can also forward, mark as important, stuff in a folder, etc.... Fortunately in this case, the Google spam miscategorization was as easy as adding a rule to prevent the miscategorization. And the office 365 block was fairly easy to resolve as well.
