I am guessing you are asking about the mini PC.
I don't want it sticking out of the back and it came with the short HDMI
cable.

What was the reason for not plugging it directly into the monitor?

One other thing, I don’t think water pipe is galvanized on the inside.
Rigid conduit or IMC may be, but it looks like a coating other than zinc
is also allowed on the inside.

That is exactly what I do, I spray cold galvanizing on the ends.

I could be wrong, but I think one of the differences when you buy
antenna mounting pipes from a microwave equipment distributor, is
that the pipe is hot dip galvanized after being cut to length, so
that the ends don’t have exposed steel.
Honestly, I’ve never seen a problem with pipe or conduit that was
field cut to length. If you obsess about such things, I guess you
could spray some cold galvanizing on the ends.

we get our pipe from the local plumbing shop. site pro accidentally
forgot to acetone wash the pipe one time, when we got the part
number off of it, it turned out its just galvanized water pipe. 3
inch will be roughly 3.5 OD

My go to pipe is 2.5” IMC, it has a 2.875 OD. I get it usually
from my electrical wholesaler, but if you have a Menards, they
will ship to store for free.

You want 3" IC (Intermediate Conduit) - stuff is solid as a
rock and usually galvanized pretty well also. You can get a

Have you tried an Electrical supply warehouse. I was

have.

Has anyone found a local source for pipe with OD of

heavy enough for mounting larger dishes, etc?
Anything at big chains
to save shipping?
