Title: Re: [AFMUG] OT: Is this a thing?
Mike,

I have some Dell 5524 switches that use HDMI as the stacking interface.  Never was able to get it to work.  Was very unstable.  Maybe I just needed some 99 cent cables.

The companies selling the cables market it, but I don't know if any equipment actually uses it.

I get these Fry's ads occasionally. I still go to Fry's, even though the place is like a ghost town these days. I suspect they may be on life support soon, but anyway...

This little thing caught my eye. I did not know that an HDMI cable cold carry ethernet. Is that really a thing? and how is an ethernet-capable HDMI cable different from a vanilla HMDI cable? Maybe it's just because it's Sunday & I haven't had my coffee yet. Maybe the fuzz will clear after I have that....
