Maybe check out vocational schools and community colleges that offer courses leading to fiber optic certification. For example:
https://www.jwcc.edu/business-resources/fiber-optic-training/ Given the state of the job market, I’m not sure you will find an experienced fiber tech just through advertising. Usually in a tight job market you need to use a search firm or somehow get a list of employees at a competitor that you can poach. I'm looking to see what everyone else is putting in their requests so I know how to best phrase mine. So far I've looked here: http://www.joink.com/careers and here: https://www.jdhcontracting.com/careers-at-jdh/ My ideal person is someone that can push\pull\blow fiber in existing conduit and can handle splicing it. I'll no doubt come up with other positions, but that's the itch that needs scratching. ----- Mike Hammett <http://www.ics-il.com/> Intelligent Computing Solutions <https://www.facebook.com/ICSIL> <https://plus.google.com/+IntelligentComputingSolutionsDeKalb> <https://www.linkedin.com/company/intelligent-computing-solutions> <https://twitter.com/ICSIL> <http://www.midwest-ix.com/> Midwest Internet Exchange <https://www.facebook.com/mdwestix> <https://www.linkedin.com/company/midwest-internet-exchange> <https://twitter.com/mdwestix> <http://www.thebrotherswisp.com/> The Brothers WISP <https://www.facebook.com/thebrotherswisp> <https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXSdfxQv7SpoRQYNyLwntZg>
