Title: Re: [AFMUG] 12A100FT Battery
TJ,
Maybe a few years ago, but I'm too lazy to mess with that now. I have over 2000 customers running on the equipment these batteries are backing up. I can't afford to roll my own anymore, not worth the risk.

buy the cells on eBay or Alibaba/express, 60-100ah 4.2v cells can be had for $40-120 ea, if your rectifier / power supply has a LVD that can be adjusted and a adjustable output voltage you just need something to do cell balancing, otherwise you can get a BMS that has LVD and a balancer inline, watch some youtube videos, the life cells are pretty popular with solar guys, etc and the $/kwh is equal or cheaper than your proposed lead batteries, and will last forever basically..

100ft red only ~$210 ea, buy 4 new.
Alternatively use LifePO4 prismatic cells and a 16s bms for less than your are going to spend for lead and get 3000-5000 cycles
