I don’t see it that way.  The whole reason for 5 ghz backup is to go beyond 60G 
limitations.  Operators want to push 1gig 60 ghz over 1km.. 5 ghz backup is the 
way to make it happen… but you need good rssi in 5 ghz for stable signal 
against interference… 24db gain  min. for 5ghz PTP.

Yeah, but 11dbi is probably generally going to be enough considering the 60ghz 
side is only going to work on pretty short links anyway.

Also, the 60ghz antenna is only 38dbi... I wonder what the physical size of 
this thing is. That's the same gain as the little Metrolinqs... the bigger 
Metrolinqs and the Mikrotiks are both 42dbi.
