I wouldn't use such repaired equipment for revenue-generating purposes that need reliability, but the amateur radio wide-area 2.3Ghz / 5.9Ghz WAN project that I'm involved in is mostly all donated / repaired gear, and I've gotten good at estimating longevity. If I'm already going through batch repairs of more expensive gear I'll spend a few minutes to try a hAP ac Lite, but not individually.
