Did they drop it in the end, or prevail or lose or what?

Like all lawsuits… Everyone loses but the lawyers.

How did those lawsuits come out in the end?

I understand Tim.

I almost quit WISPA when ubiquiti stared suing operators and distributors
because cambium released their ePMP elevate. I really didn’t like that WISPA
would take such a neutral position when a manufacturer sued an operator for
using a competitor’s product...WISPA is an operator organization that just
happened to let manufactures play in our sand box because it’s mutually
beneficial.

Anyway my takeaway from all that was that I’m not going to agree 100% with
anyone or with any organization, but the benefits to my company (at this time)
far out weigh my ideological disagreement.

So I can appreciate that you may not want to be a member.

Anyway, hope you have a great day bud.

Maybe you should join Wispa. They do so much good for our industry. I've
heard all the excuses as to why people don't join but they don't make sense.
It's cheap!

        Thanks Sean,
I forgot all about the wispa members directory. I think this info will
help.

WISPA has a member search page. If you click the link above and
then select Ohio there's about 20 members who serve Ohio.

                    Hey guys,
I have a good friend who works for Dell, he has been
working with
OARNET and they are struggling to find broadband providers
for
educators, students, etc in rural Ohio. What I'm hearing is
they are
finding towers, etc in the areas they need coverage but are
having a
difficult time identifying the operators. So, I suggested
that I throw
this out on the list and see what the borg has to say. I'm
here in
Michigan and travel thru Ohio a lot. I see a lot of gear all
over rural Ohio, (my wife says I spend more time looking at
towers, etc than the road) so I putting this out there for
discussion.
I don't have any specifics on locations at this time,
although the
Athens area was mentioned. I did provide him with the link
to
                    Towercoverage.
