Based on Linkedin and FB requests, others seem much more interested in making
friends...
I feel a tinge of guilt everytime I ignore those requests.
I was that kid that the teachers always paired up with others to “help them
out”.
Even in fricking College!!!
I feigned a certain degree of civility and concern, but I truly did not want to
make friends.
Not much has changed.
Probably due to being a sociopath or some such thing.

general public who would absolutely "cancel" them for being a bunch of weirdos.
I'm a believer in the importance of the second amendment and I'm a gun owner
(and it's one of those evil semi automatic rifles with a box magazine and a
black composite stock), and I would be all about joining a militia whose
purpose was to defend the country and respond to natural disasters with no
weird, political conspiracy BS baked in. Too bad there isn't one.

I think that may be factually incorrect. He promised to choose a
woman. Some have pushed him to choose a “woman of color”, but if he announced
his running mate will be black, I missed that. Two frequently mentioned
candidates are indeed Kamala Harris and Susan Rice. Amy Klobuchar took her
name off the list. Also supposedly on the short list is Tammy Duckworth who
