As per my other post, we will be connecting via DWDM to a DC in Miami.

On the way from Vero Beach, we have a spot in Ft. Pierce, (14 miles away) and
then West Palm (60 miles from Ft. Pierce) and then on to a Miami DC (65 miles
from West Palm).

In Ft. Pierce, I could see ourselves making use of the connectivity to our main
NOC (breaking out BW and transit services there) but West Palm is not so much
in our vision. I definitely have to re-gen in West Palm and Ft. Pierce was
optional but allows me to keep somewhat universal spares for all location AND
the Colo’s at both the Ft. Pierce and West Palm location were dirt cheap.

Of course, the reasons to get the DC in Miami are the obvious ones ($$ for BW
and access to the IX etc.)

The question is Option A…do I pull the BW for West Palm and Ft. Pierce directly
from the Miami DC to maximize BW and transit efficiency, or Option B…do I pull
that from the Vero Beach (main NOC) side to get to Ft. Pierce and West Palm.
With Option B, I need more channels from Vero to the DC to get more BW for use
at each regen/ colo spot. Option B gives us a more direct extension of our
main network to Ft. Pierce and West Palm.

I am leaning towards pulling Ft. Pierce directly from Vero since I see a
potential extension of our WAN more in the near term and then pulling West Palm
directly from the DC.

These are new considerations for me, so I wanted to query the crowd for
opinions / suggestions
