Thanks, I was TOTALLY confused by the ESS and ESX nomenclature. So it’s about
the 3 data ports and E=Ethernet, S=SFP and X=link to another radio?

I am actually using MC-ABC on this link and just the first Ethernet port. It’s
a long link and we just limit the modulation so the aggregate never exceeds 1
Gbps since we’d lose that with rain fade anyway. Easier than doing external
LAG. (What we’d really like of course is SFP+ and internal LAG)

If I’m understanding correctly, we probably wanted the ESS version anyway, in
case we ever wanted to run two SFPs and external LAG? I guess you could do 1
copper 1 optical but that’s weird.

The 55As at Winncom may already be allocated to other orders. Unless you need
MIMO functionality or space diversity, you can go with the more standard
stocking SKU C110082L027A PTP 820C Radio
11WGHz,TR500,Ch7W13,Hi,11425-11725MHz ESS

It's the same exact radio as 55A except for the third port functionality. Last
year Cambium switched the primary/default SKUs to the non-mimo models. The
“ESS” at the end of the product description indicates all three ports are
dedicated for data (Ethernet/SFP/SFP). On the mimo models, the third port is
dedicated for MIMO or space diversity connectivity between the radios.

It looks to me like Winncom, Connectronics, and possibly WAV have stock of
C110082L027A

Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s a power supply problem. I tried several
others with the same results.

Actually, I think you can power these with Chuck’s CAT6-POE-APC with the
default jumper settings. I have some PTP820S radios powered that way.

Ken,
This is the correct part # for the PSU you need for the 820C, we just used two
of these and they work great. ISP has 23 instock.

Oops, so they are not showing stock?

If I'm seeing correctly, Streakwave has qty=1 in stock, not sure if that's Ohio
or Utah. If they have one I can't drive and get it at will call like I would
from WAV, but I could overnight it in.

I don't have a Winncomm account, not sure I can check stock status online.
