Sec. 91.11 — Prohibition on interference with crewmembers.
No person may assault, threaten, intimidate, or interfere with a crewmember in 
the performance of the crewmember's duties aboard an aircraft being operated.

Disobeying a crewmember has been defined as one type of interference.

Just keep in mind FAR 91.105(b) requires: 

(a) During takeoff and landing, and while en route, each required flight 
crewmember shall - 

(1) Be at the crewmember station unless the absence is necessary to perform 
duties in connection with the operation of the  aircraft or in connection with 
physiological needs; and 

(2) Keep the safety belt fastened while at the crewmember station.


I suppose you could argue you have physiological needs.   Or for Steve,  
perhaps psychological needs.
