Watching the coverage of the Tonga Volcano, and the Fiber cable being cut, and the ash blocking satellite communications, there were talks about how there was no information getting in and out of the country. Would HAM radios still work through the ash cloud? Providing they were able to get power. Seems like someone would be able to talk to someone else from there. Or is that how the 'limited information' was getting out.
