I've had a Model 3 since September 2018 and loved it to death. So much so that I ordered a Model S Long Range last June and just got it 2 weeks ago. I traded in my M3 at Tesla and they gave me $47,100 for it with 71k miles and nearly 4 years old. Less than a private sale but still good for trade-in plus I saved an extra $3k on sales tax by trading. It's even more luxurious, comfy, and faster than the M3. I ordered when it was $80k base last June and it had 4 price increases of $5k each so the base is now $100k for my car. I was locked in to my original $80k price thankfully but these price increases sure help my resale value if I ever want to sell it.
My brother also ordered a M3 Long Range last year and took delivery in March. He's in love with it too! Best cars we've ever driven. It's hard to go back to a gas vehicle like my truck or if I drive my dad's 4-cylinder Camry sometimes. Gas vehicles feel so slow and dead after driving EVs. Tesla software is amazing and smooth to use. I have FSD Beta and it continues to get better with every release. I have no doubt that Tesla will have full autonomous driving figured out in the next 1-3 years. Their supercharger network continues to grow at a rapid pace and I no longer have any range anxiety.
