My current employer uses Ring Central. I can’t say anything bad about it.
My DID can receive phone calls, faxes, and SMS. I can use the Ring Central app to text with my coworkers and we do that all day long. The Ring Central app also can do phone calls and video conferences and we do that all the time too. I don’t write the checks, but I’m sure it’s not cheap. We'll be porting his current number and a toll-free number to whatever service we choose. I've been looking at RingCentral, Ooma, 8x8, etc. Just wondering if anyone has experience with any of them and/or could recommend something that works well. He's going to have only 4 lines at first, but he says that could eventually expand up to 10 or 15. So it's never going to be huge. And I question whether he will need any advanced PBX functionality. Guessing it'll mostly amount to voicemail, transferring calls, music-on-hold, etc. Stuff like voicemail transcription to email would probably be cool. Any suggestions? Thanks! Craig
