I presume it is a windows VM thing. My son Frank installed it and he likes
windows stuff.
I have a large mailbox and IMAP.

Hmmm, Windows or Linux?
Sounds like a client is slamming the server locally.
Have seen this with fairly large mailboxes and IMAP
trying to sync.
