I will be the first to proclaim that I am not your marketing guru. However, I play a stellar hindsight game. Back in the day, I worked for a company with a head of marketing that was really good at predicting the exact opposite way to go. I commented once in a group of co-workers that they should plant an arrow out of his back, and go that way.

FWIW, I have never acted on any of the 10-bazillion offers I've gotten from LinkedIn.

So maybe it's a good idea?
