It might be OK. The G5-PRO has a visor over the top, plus, in this instance it will be pointed down at an approximately 45° angle. I think it will be mounted high enough that there won't be any splash from the ground below. That said, it would not be a problem for me to fashion an additional visor.

I don't know how the camera you mentioned is designed and if that is the case with it.
