Switching to fiber definitely won't fix it.
We've got ONT/modem/router/gateway/repeater/booster/extender/ap confusion.
"Fiber wire" is probably the one that bugs me the most.
You'd be surprised how many people sign up and think we'll just
magically dangle a "fiber wire" to their house despite there being
exactly zero poles nearby and having seen us just bury the cable down
the road.
The only real win is no longer needing to make them
find/acknowledge/unplug the POE.
