We have been using Mikrotiks (RB110AHx2) for tower sites that we have put in place over the past couple years. With that being said, we have started to notice more and more ports failing even with surge suppression in place. I know that certain issues are unavoidable, but it has brought up the age old "Is there something better?" question. So, I pose it to the mailing list. What is everyone using in terms of tower routers? Does anyone know of a product (mikrotik based or other) that would possibly be a little more resilient within a close price range to the Tiks?
