We just had a bad experience with a battery charger/battery backup that did not work as expected.
We're looking at this right now: https://www.tessco.com/products/displayProductInfo.do?sku=516011What we like about this is that it has separate connections for battery & load, and also does automatic battery tests with an alarm output.
Is anyone using something similar that they like?
