Josh, The two issues were that because of the “munged” headers to be Amazon compliant, some programs couldn’t “rebuild” the proper order of threads, resulting in multiple threads or things out of order. There were only a few people that were complaining (which I fully understand, BTW) but it was different than most normal threads.
The 2nd issue was related to the sender email address having to be not used/exposed for people to be able to see the direct email address to send PM, etc. Since most people were OK with it, we had to push it down the stack of work to properly test the other options, which were NOT easy to pull off. Amazon is great, very reliability and we don’t have server bounces (like none) but they have a LOT of specific things to do to make it happen. This seemingly made a simple process much more complicated but there are trade-offs in life. Long term, we will all be happy with the consistency, which was both Chuck and my goal.
