They did that with 100 series, I still have one of those APs out there. I have a fair number of 450 APs with less than 10 SMs. They probably will eventually have more. But in the meantime, I could be spending that money on SMs. And then a license upgrade later. It is a zero sum game, we only have so much money. If we spend it on stuff that brings in more money, now we have more money to spend.
